Our clients in Faversham wanted us to redesign a cluttered and untidy garden, so we went and had a look and had a chat. Their basic brief was that they wanted a third to be pond, a third paved and a third to be planting. They wanted a rectangular wildlife pond. They wanted access all round it. They had various features, such as the birdbaths, which they wanted to keep in their garden. They wanted easy access for wildlife.
So, it was a case of fitting these things together. It was a very easy, simple process to design the garden. We had a very clear brief and we had a clear budget, which we also managed to keep within for the landscapers. It worked really, really well. And as you can see from the Google review below, they were very, very happy with the work that was done and the design.

Simon gave us a wonderful design for our small town garden. The large wildlife pond is the central feature with a really creative use of the space that makes the garden look and feel much bigger, yet has more patio space and still lots of room for planting. The design has just been made reality by Vu landscaping, recommended by Simon. They worked incredibly hard, took away all the stress we thought we would have and were polite and friendly throughout despite bad weather and a challenging access.
The garden has exceeded our expectations and we would recommend having a professional designer. We would never have come up with such an imaginative use of space- we even got a second pond! Simon gave us a lot of time to understand what we wanted and helped us realise what that was. We are looking forward to Simon seeing his design made real soon.
