Numbers, the cost of design as a percentage.

I’ve got some numbers for you! numbers are vital because if you’re going to landscape your garden or re-landscape your garden, there’s going to be a lot of work to do. There’s going to be a lot of materials to buy, it’s going to need a lot of labour to build it.

Now the average garden landscape costs around about £10,000. Sometimes it’s as low as £4,000 or £5,000 and sometimes it could be as much as £50,000 or £60,000 but on average it’s £10,000.

At Simple Life, garden designs start at £695. That’s seven percent of £10,000.

Seven percent! Now for that you get to know what’s going to go where; where you’re going to put your pond, where you’re going to put your pergola, where you’re going to put your decking, or your archway or where you’re going to put your planting, so that you know where your money’s going to go! Doesn’t that make sense, to spend seven percent of your predicted budget on a design to work out where things should go. That’s what we do at SIMPLE LIFE.
