Why Salvia Hotlips is the perfect perennial for your garden.

I’m sitting in front of a salvia, which you can see shimmering away in the sunshine behind me. It’s the most amazing of salvias it’s called Hot Lips. Probably called Hot Lips because of the flowers and as you can see, sometimes they’re red and white, sometimes they’re white and sometimes they’re red which is amazing in itself.  But what’s even more amazing is that it’s now the middle of November and they’ve been flowering since the beginning of Summer which means they’ve been giving us colour for four or five months, which is absolutely amazing. It really is when you think about it. They require virtually no maintenance at all. Just cut them down in March and let them start again. That’s about It. That makes them the most amazing perennial for your garden. That’s why I and obviously you love them.
